Vanellus
DD Marine
Low sulphated
ash diesel engine oils formulated to meet the special requirements
of the Detroit Diesel Corporation’s 2-stroke diesel
engines - naturally aspirated or turbo-charged.
Vanellus DD 40 and 50 exceed API Engine Service Quality CF-2/SF. They
provide better wear protection and a significantly longer service life
in Detroit Diesel 2-stroke engines when used in conjunction with the
recommended oil drain and filter maintenance schedules.
Vanellus
DD 40 is recommended for general use when ambient temperatures
are
above 0°C. It is also suitable for a large variety of 4-stroke
diesel engines and it can be used in certain 4-stroke petrol engines.
Vanellus
DD 50 has been specifically formulated for use in Detroit Diesel
149
engines above ambient temperatures of 35°C. It is also
recommended for use in all Detroit 2-stroke engines in continuous high
temperature operation (over 94°C Coolant Out). Vanellus DD 50 should
not be used in ambient temperatures below 10°C. Vanellus DD 50
is also recommended for Fuller “Roadranger” transmissions.
